Philadelphia City Rowing – Summer Learn to Row (High School)

There is a free summer rowing program that is available to all Philadelphia Public School students who will be in 9th through 12th grade next school year.  Philadelphia City Rowing, Inc. is a privately-funded, independently operated 501(c)(3) organization that is working in partnership with the School District and the City of Philadelphia to create a year-round, competitive public school rowing team.

Our summer program will offer three 2-week learn-to-row sessions this summer that will introduce kids to the basics of training.

Session I – July 8th-19th
Session II – July 29th August 9th
Session III – August12th-August 23rd

Practices will be held Mon. – Fri. from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  We are located at #1 Boathouse Row/Lloyd Hall (Corner of Kelly Drive & Poplar Drive).

It’s very easy to sign up:
1.  Fill out and return the Contact Form and Waiver.
2.  Pass the swim test – June 16th at 4:00 p.m., Drexel University.
3.  Get out on the water with us!
